This Land

A self project lyric video featuring the song This Land by Pierce Murphy. The tragic end Elijah McClain had really touched me when I heard the news in 2021. After hearing this song I wanted to create a video in dedication to him. The violin that appears during the musical break is the instrument that Elijah loved to play in local shelters for animals. I hope this project brings light to his story.

Goals

  • Have the lyrics appear in time with the song

Time

  • 30 hours total.

  • 3 hours illustrating, 24 hours animating, 3 hours smoothing/exporting.

  • Completed March 2022
